Astra P. S. Dorf, a native of New York as well as Miami Beach, attended the Fashion Institute of Technology and studied advertising, marketing and communications. In 1995 she began her public relations and marketing career at Lee Hunt Associates, an entertainment-branding agency specializing in launching, designing and strategizing for television networks. 

Astra focused on promoting the company within the industry via the award-winning work and talented staff through press, events and industry conferences. Lee Hunt Associates was acquired by the interactive agency Razorfish in 1999 where she continued to spearhead promoting the media & entertainment/broadcast design vertical of Razorfish. Some examples of clients she worked on are such networks as: NBC, PBS, The Disney Channel, Arte, ZDF and many more.

 

Since the decline at Razorfish’s Media & Entertainment division in 2002 Astra has been enjoying what she does best for clients of her own such as Vista Guapa Surf Camp in Costa Rica,  Laughing Lotus Yoga Center, Count Me Blue & Count Me Red (hottest new political accessory) and Yasmena Bags (high-end women's accessories).  Astra loves to apply her public relations and marketing process to new and interesting clients that she is passionate about. Astra is also the Marketing Director for CA Square, a branding, design and animation company. Astra was also certified to teach yoga in 2003 and balances her public relations and marketing work with her love for practicing and teaching Yoga. Astra likes to incorporate her yoga philosophies into all aspects of her life where good relationships and enjoying each moment fully are always top of mind!
